Hearts of Stone, the first expansion pack for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available to download on Steam, GOG, and elsewhere. The expansion introduces a new story and allows players to engage in the 10-hour long campaign in an all new area populated by some familiar faces and a host of strangers.
The expansion was subject to release in a special boxed edition in GameStop stores all across North America, CD Projekt Red has said, but certain logistical problems have delayed its release.
"Dear North American gamers, as you might have heard, we prepared a special boxed edition of Hearts of Stone that was supposed to be sold in GameStop stores all over America," wrote Marcin Momot, community manager at CD Projekt Red.
"However, it has come to our attention that, due to logistical problems, customers will be unable to obtain the physical edition of the game for several days after launch. We are working with GameStop to fix this situation as soon as possible and deeply apologize for the inconvenience."
The developer states that you can order the game in digital format and purchase Gwent cards separately on RedeemGwent.com.
