EA has announced a $50 season pass for Star Wars Battlefront and details relating to the game's Hero Hunt mode.
Buying the season pass will net you access to four expansion packs, advanced two week access to each expansion, an exclusive "shoot first" emote, and more, details of which will be revealed in the coming weeks.
You can play as either a hero or a villain, depending on the planet you're playing on, and seven other players spawn as soldiers on the other side.
"A tense seven-versus-one hunt" then kicks off. If one of the players kills the hero or villain, they take their place as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, "or whichever iconic character is up based on the pre-determined order." The mode will be released alongisde the game on November 17th.
The season pass can be purchased for pre-order through the PlayStation Store, the Xbox store, and EA's Origin client on PC.
Star Wars Battlefront is currently in beta testing, with the technical tests extended for another day for technical performance analysis, which may lead to connectivity issues.
