Microsoft today released the launch trailer for Halo: The Fall of Reach, the animated adaptation of Erik Nylund’s novel of the same name.
The animated series will be told in three acts. The show is available by either purchasing the Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition or the Halo 5: Guardians Digital Deluxe Edition.
Here is the show’s official description:
Relive the origin of the legendary Master Chief and the Spartan program in this animated adaptation of one of Halo’s most beloved stories. Kidnapped as children and conscripted into a brutal military training and augmentation program, the Spartans were designed to be the ultimate weapon against chaos and insurgency – but when a dangerous alien alliance known as The Covenant declares war on humanity, the Spartans might be our only hope.
In other Halo 5: Guardians news, the game went gold yesterday, meaning it is ready for printing and distribution. Microsoft also released a live-action launch trailer for the game on Monday and 343 Industries detailed what’s changing in Forge mode when it launches in December.
Halo 5: Guardians will be released on Oct. 27, 2015 for Xbox One.
