How many more secrets do you think are lurking under Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain? Official sources are now chiming in and hinting we may learn the truth soon.
As we had convered before, there are prevailing theories that what seems like unfinished content inThe Phantom Pain as it was released is actually evidence of hidden content that has yet to be launched. This is corroborated by the extensive data fans found from mining the game’s contents.
A fan had the opportunity to ask a Konami employee about these contents, and they had this to say:
What I will say is that the game is deeper than what people are giving it credit for. Jumping to premature conclusions based on assets hacked out of the game is unfair and sells the game short. Just keep playing
Not so long after that, the official Metal Gear Twitter account shared these tweets:
Today is the one month anniversary of the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. It's been amazing so far, but there's more to see

So it seems possible that whatever content that has been teased and seems incomplete in The Phantom Pain’s story campaign is actually in the upcoming Metal Gear Online 3.
Metal Gear Online 3 will be released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on October 6, 2015, and on PC on January 2016. What do you think of Konami’s teases? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
