How would you like Halo Reach to come to Xbox One? It seems Microsoft’s plans for it may not match what you had in mind.
Team Xbox head Phil Spencer expressed his intent to bring the game to the platform via backwards compatibility, as compared to giving it the remaster treatment and/or adding it to Halo The Master Chief Collection.
@lincon6eqo I'd like to see it come via back compat.

Why Halo The Master Chief Collection? It is supposed to focus on games with Master Chief, but Microsoft did add in Halo ODST as DLC so it does not seem that farfetched.
In any case, Phil’s seeming hesitation in remastering Halo Reach is interesting. Gamers seem eager to rebuy games from 7th to 8th gen, even in cases like Tomb Raider, when the ports were merely a year apart from the original release.
If fan interest may not be an issue here, then the problem may be Team Xbox’s budget. They unveiled many exclusives last E3, and there may simply be not enough money to go around for more projects. Of course, Halo Reach for Xbox 360 is easily available as well, so it may simply be a case of Microsoft wanting consumers to save and not feel like they were gypped into buying a remaster.
