Several new Pokemon forms have been revealed, in what sources believe is the buildup to a new Pokemon game.
The latest scans for CoroCoro have revealed that Zygarde has multiple forms. To clarify, Zygarde was introduced in Pokemon X and Y. It is a Dragon Ground Type Pokemon, with a serpent like body and frills at the back of its neck. The Zygarde looked somewhat mysterious and impersonal, but its other forms are much more appealing.
There are the Zygarde Core and Zygarde Cell, which combine to form the Zygarde Complete forms. The Zygarde 10 % form actually looks like a guard dog. The Zygarde 50 % form is the one we were originally introduced to.
Finally, there is the Zygarde Perfect Form, the most humanlike form also known as the Order Pokemon. Zygarde Perfect Form towers at 4.5 m high, and is more powerful than either Xerneas and Yveltal.
For all these forms, the Zygarde Core forms the brain of the assembled creature. This was the mystery Pokemon we had been teased last July and August.
On the side, Corocoro also revealed a new form for Greninja, which makes him look a lot like everyone’s favorite animated Pokemon trainer Ash.
Now rumors of a Pokemon Z have been swirling for a while, including speculation from when the Pokemon X and Y originally released. Now, however, there’s reason to believe that something is forthcoming, especially when you consider the timeline The Pokemon Company themselves revealed on the Pokemon Go reveal:
Of course, the greatest hint that a Pokemon Z game could be coming is the fact that the new anime is to be called Pokemon XY and Z.
