Nvidia has released the new 285.38 beta drivers, in preperation for the upcoming Battlefield 3 beta launch. The release notes are claiming some significant optimization and promising a 38% performance boost with increased stability, image quality and an SLI profile. Here's what's new in 285.38
ïµ This driver package installs NVIDIA PhysX System Software v9.11.06.21.
NVIDIA GPU PhysX acceleration is available only on systems with GeForce 8â€series
and later GPUs with a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory.
NVIDIA GPU PhysX acceleration is not available if there a nonâ€NVIDIA graphics
processor in the system, even if it is not used for rendering.
ïµ This driver package installs the HD audio driver, version 1.2.24.0.
