CD Projekt Red has more updates in store for The Witcher 3 ahead of the release of its first expansion pack.
An upcoming update will address Geralt's romance with Triss, which many players—especially fans of Triss—found unfulfilling in comparison to the romance with Yennifer, Geralt's true love (from the books, anyway).
Most of the complaints revolved around the fact that players had far less dialogue options with Triss compared to Yen, making them feel as if they made the wrong choice by picking her as Geralt's romantic partner.
CD Projekt Red previously acknowledged this a couple months ago, stating that they would be putting some effort into improving the romance.
Kotaku's Kirk Hamilton spoke with the developers of the game, who confirmed that the romantic dialogue between Geralt and Triss will be getting something of an overhaul. Players will be able to experience more options for conversation once the two characters hook up.
If you romanced Yennifer the first time around and have yet to experience what things are like with Triss, then you should probably wait for the patch to come out and start a new playthrough in New Game+.
