Netherrealm Studios and Warner Bros. have more content in store for fans of Mortal Kombat X. The studios confirmed today that there is indeed new DLC planned for the game.
The downloadable content currently in development for the game includes new playable characters, skins, and a new environment for which to fight in. All of the content will be released in early 2016.
Both the developer and the publisher declined to elaborate on eaxctly what will be in the upcoming DLC, but they did put out a teaser image showcasing what looks like the silhouettes of four different characters.
The game's creator Ed Boon may reveal the characters on his Twitter account before they are officially announced, so we'll be keeping our eyes on that.
Mortal Kombat X is out for the PC, Xbox One and PS4. There are no plans to bring it to last-gen platforms.
In July, Tremor was released as a DLC character. You can read about him here.
