Nexon America Incorporated, publishers of online games including MapleStory and Dirty Bomb, announced today they are partnering with Dallas Dickinson's newly-formed QC Games to create an as-yet unannounced online action game.
“Dallas and the team of veterans he’s building at QC Games have played a part in creating some of the world’s most successful games, and we’re looking forward to helping them bring another hit title to market,” said Nexon president and CEO Owen Mahoney in a press release.
Dickinson is a industry veteran with titles including Planetside, Shadow Realms, and Star Wars: The Old Republic on his resume, and he's assembling a team of experienced game designers at QC Games, including Gabe Amatangelo (Warhammer Online, Dragon Age: Inquisition), Brian Matt (Wolfenstein: Tides of War, Doom 3), Jason Rotan (formerly of NC Soft, EA, and Bioware), Pat Ditterline (Dark Age of Camelot, Star Wars: The Old Republic), Stefan Lednicky (Mass Effect, Dragon Age), Marcus Hays (Titan Quest franchise, Dragon Age), and Pedro Teledo (RockBand, Fable 2).
Nexon is also currently working with Cliff Bleszinski's Boss Key Productions on his forthcoming arena shooter LawBreakers. They did not provide a name or date for their project with QC Games, and additional terms of the partnership were unavailable.
