Destiny: The Taken King Launch Trailer Features Space Battles, Led Zeppelin

August 31, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Send in the cavalry.

Bungie has released the gameplay launch trailer for Destiny: The Taken King, which will be released for all platforms on September 15th.

Set to Led Zeppelin's 'Black Dog', the trailer warns of Oryx's wrath as he descends on the solar system seeking revenge for the death of his son Crota. Guardians take up arms put down the Hive king and there are some epic space battles depicted in the footage, though how much control players will have during these scenes is unclear.

Guardians aren't the only ones going after Oryx, you'll also have to fend off the Cabal who are the main antagonists of one of The Taken King's new strikes.

The Taken King changes leveling system, light level, exotics, ups the level cap, simplifies the game's currency, how strikes work, replaces the voice of Ghost, adds Ghost shells, and more.

It will also add the game's biggest Raid, King's Fall, but it won't be available on day one.
