Marvel’s collaboration with Fortnite shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. Fortnite players who happen to be fans of the gripping new Moon Knight series on Disney+ will be keen to get their hands on the new Moon Knight skin that’s launched into the item shop today.
Announced in a blog post over on the Fortnite website earlier, the brand new skin is available from today and offers two different styles for players to show off their chaotic side with. Taking inspiration from the hit series’ main character, the skin comes both in full Marc Spector Avatar-of-Khonshu Moon Knight style as well as the more refined and pared-down Steven Grant Mr Knight style.
Also included with the skin is an iconic back bling in the form of Moon Knight’s Cloak. In addition, players can pick up a new style of pickaxe in the shop with the Crescent Darts pickaxe to complete the set. All in all, it looks pretty awesome.
The Moon Knight skin costs 1500 V-Bucks and the Crescent Darts pickaxe can be bolted on for another 500, making the full Moon Knight bundle a bit of an investment at 2000 V-Bucks altogether.
Moon Knight is the latest in a long line of Marvel characters to be added to Fortnite. The ongoing collaboration has been running for quite some time now, with the most recent inclusion of Dr Strange in the game’s Season 3, Chapter 2 Battle Pass. Before this, we’ve seen the likes of Spider-Man, Black Widow, Star-Lord and Mary Jane enter into the famous Battle Royale island, to name a few.
With the next MCU (Dr Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness) entry due to release on May 6th, it might be that we start to see even more of Marvel’s beloved heroes (manifesting Wanda Maximoff and a Scarlet Witch skin) pop up in Fortnite over the coming few weeks.
