CEO of Respawn Entertainment, makers of 2014’s Titanfall, Vince Zampella recently made some comments on Twitter in regards to the lack of Titanfall 2 news and why the original was not available on PlayStation 4.
While Zampella was tweeting with airline company British Airways over lost luggage, one Twitter user used that as an opportunity to ask about the lack of Titanfall 2 news. Zampella fired back by saying, “All of the announcements were in that bag!”
.@alexhammersley @British_Airways Well, all the announcements were in that bag!

Another user on Twitter, presumably unhappy with Respawn’s decisions to not release the original Titanfall on PlayStation platforms, inquired as to why the company made that decision. Zampella clarified that the decision was made because, at the time, Respawn was a new, small studio that was “starting from scratch.”
@harrythemukster I felt we needed to do it. We were a small team starting from scratch. Not greed, it limited our market. +chance to finish

Zampella also dissuaded fears over the future of Respawn’s games being exclusive to one console or another, saying, “We want as many as possible to play our games!”
@harrythemukster That will be fixed. We want as many as possible to play our games!

Titanfall 2 has been known to be in development for some time now, but there has been nothing shown of the game so far.
