The platform-adventure game Ori and the Blind Forest is getting a new release in a "Definitive Edition" for the PC and Xbox One.
Its developer Moon Studios made the announcement at Gamescom as part of one of Microsoft's Xbox broadcasts. The game's director Thoams Mahler said that the Definitive Edition will be the ultimate version of the title.
More than simply labeling it the Definitive Edition, it's set to include new areas, game mechanics, and possibly even new abilities—although that's something the developers are still working on.
It's set to launch this fall on Steam, Xbox One, and the Windows 10 store. There's no price for it yet, but we're hoping that pre-existing owners of the game will get some sort of discount, as is typically the case with these releases.
