Assassin’s Creed Syndicate: See the Frye Twins in Action

August 5, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Fight for freedom, for London, for family.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin's Creed Syndicate to mark gamescom, with the focus being placed equally on twin protagonists Evie and Jacob Frye.

The Assassin duo are out to ensure the downtrodden masses of 19th century London are protected from the worst excesses of Victorian captialism. While Evie seems to be the more refined and traditional Assassin figure, Jacob is more of a street fighter and can call in his gang when needed.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate drops both competitive and co-operative multiplayer in favour of building a stronger single-player experience and there will be no companion app this time round either.

Ubisoft has developed a new melee combat system as well as a number of improvements to navigation, and will be bringing back the series' modern day sections.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate launches on October 23rd for PS4, and Xbox One. The PC version will be released a few weeks later.
