Ubisoft released Zombi U for the Nintendo Wii U in 2012. Today, the publisher has announced that the game, retitled as Zombi, will be coming to the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It's been dated for release on August 18, 2015.
Originally designed as one of the Wii U's flagship titles, Zombi is a procedurally generated survival horror game in which players will take the role of a randomized survivor in post-apocalyptic London, where thousands of its inhabitants have been infected by a disease worse than death itself.
This first-person shooter has been optimized for current-gen platforms and the PC with new graphics and controls.
Players who never experienced the game when it was originally released will be able to live through the oppressive and intense elements that made the game as innovative as it was. Players carry a bug-out bag containing all of the player's tools, inventory, first aid and maps, and assortment of other gear. They will also have to contend with permadeath, for each time players die, they will be placed in the body of a different survivor and have to seek out the corpse of their previous character to retrieve their items.
