Final Fantasy Type-0 was announced for release on the PC through Steam not too long ago, and today Square Enix has announced what specs you'll need on your gaming rig to run the title.
The publisher has revealed the minimum system requirements to get the game running at its base settings as well as the recommended system requirements to get it playing at higher settings. They are as follows:
Minimum System Requirements
- Operating System: Windows 7, 8, 8.1 64bit
- Processor: CPU Core i3 2.5GHz
- Memory: RAM 4GB
- Disk Space: HDD/SSD 30GB
- Video: GTX560Ti or AMD Radeon 7790 mp4 [H.264]
- Sound: DirectX XAudio2API
- DirectX: 11 and over
Recommended System Requirements
- Operating System: Windows 7, 8, 8.1 64bit
- Processor: CPU Core i5 2.7GHz
- Memory: RAM 6GB
- Disk Space: HDD/SSD 30GB
- Video: GTX750 mp4 [H.264]
- Sound: DirectX XAudio2API
- DirectX: 11 and over
Beyond that, anyone who pre-orders the game will receive a Master Chocobo as a courier and a Moogle (Class Zero) as a ward in Valve's MOBA, Dota 2. Players will also get an exclusive loading screen. That's pretty cool, but only if you play Dota 2. Why couldn't we get Chocobo and Moogle hats for Team Fortress 2 too?
Final Fantasy Type-0 is slated for release on the PC on August 18.
