Gaming peripheral manufacturer Razer has mainly been developing hardware for the PC. Aside from occasional support for mobile platforms, Razer hasn't done much to dedicate their resources to the development of console peripherals.
This may be about to change, if the words of Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan are anything to go by. Tan expressed his commitment towards supporting the Fighting Game Community.
The FGC is one of the communities we're committed to supporting in the long term! https://t.co/QGNWusYSrp

He wrote the above tweet in response to a tweet by Mad Catz. The competitor came to the rescue with one of their own sticks after a Razer fighting stick disconnected during the tournament.
Responding to a question from a fan, Tan said that the company is considering branching out to support various consoles due to their commitment to the FGC.
Well we're definitely considering those. So we're looking to double down support to sponsor more FGC tournaments https://t.co/lEgzs58eQJ

It'll be interesting to see them go head-to-head with Mad Catz in this arena.
