The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s ready to get back on track with their DLC! They promised 16 free pieces of downloadable content, and they’d made good on their word… until last week, that is. Someone might have missed the memo and accidentally released an incomplete piece of DLC.
This particular DLC was dropped into the PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace, where fans downloaded and installed it, only to find that it caused some issues. Some players started seeing double with a Ciri doppelganger showing up, though not necessarily to steal the show. The DLC was only supposed to contain a new look for the second playable character, not an instant twin. Sadly, others were not so fortunate. Instead of getting double the Ciri, the wonky DLC actually affected someone’s save file, and the game’s community manager advised people not to install the leaked content.
That's all over now; this is the real thing. We’re not sure if we like this look on Ciri. She looks good, but it’s a bit different from her default appearance. We’re also wondering if that chainmail(?) vest actually protects anything. What do you think of this new look? You can get the DLC now and inspect it more closely.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is developed by CD Projekt RED and is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
