Satellite Reign Has Been Dated for Release on PC

July 13, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Satellite Reign is almost out.

Satellite Reign, the game touted as the spiritual successor to Syndicate Wars, is almost ready for release.

The game has been dated by its developer 5 Lives Studios for release on the PC on August 28, 2015.

Satellite Reign was successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter and has been in Early Access since late 2014. The game is more or less feature complete and is in its last stages of development as the studio polishes it up for release.

"Of course leaving Early Access is by no means a finish-line,” said the developer in a press release. “Satellite Reign is hugely important to our little studio, and we'll be continuing to support the game as long as necessary post-release, while also investigating new content and features we would like to add.

"Thanks very much for all of your help and support over the past seven months we've been on Early Access, and a huge thanks to those of you who had enough faith to back us on Kickstarter almost two years ago!"

The cyberpunk, squad-based strategy game will be available on Steam, GOG and Humble Store and priced at $29.99. Here’s a teaser.

Disclosure: I contributed to Satellite Reign’s Kickstarter at the $25 tier.
