Call of Duty Black Ops 3: Donate For A Chance To Join Game As A Zombie

July 10, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

The benefit, Call of Duty Endowment, helps veterans find jobs.

Treyarch and Activision have worked with Omaze to launch a new special fundraising initiative benefiting the Call of Duty Endowment. Donate for a chance to enter Call of Duty Black Ops 3 as a zombie.

Here’s the text from the official press release:

This effort will raise money for the Call of Duty™ Endowment, a non-profit organization founded by Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick, which funds best-in-class nonprofits helping veterans find good jobs after their service. Activision Blizzard is also matching each donation dollar for dollar up to $1,000,000. Starting today, and running through August 31, 2015, fans can enter by donating $10 or more to the Call of Duty Endowment via Omaze for a chance to be zombified at Treyarch and appear in Call of Duty: Black Ops III DLC. The winner will also have their name immortalized in a Zombies mode level, have lunch with Treyarch Studio Head Mark Lamia, and receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the studio behind the game.

So, here’s how the initiative actually works. On Omaze, the amount you donate gives you more chances to be added as a zombie. For better or worse, Activision is making it really difficult to win, as $ 10 will give you 100 chances, and that number incrementally goes up with each tier, up to 500,000 chances for the final, sold out tier.

Truth be told, if you did want to participate, you may as well donate for the merchandise assigned to each tier. There are several autographed pieces of swag, including the minifreezer, at the higher levels, and hoodies, t-shirts and caps at lower levels.

Go on over to Omaze and pick your favorite item to go with your donation here. The benefiting nonprofit, the Call of Duty Endowment, helps veterans find work.
