Rise of Incarnates Launches Today on Steam

July 1, 2015 by Michael Fossbakk

The 2v2 competitive action game from Bandai Namco.

Free-to-play 2v2 competitive action game, Rise of Incarnates, is now available on Steam for Windows PC, Bandai Namco announced today.

Players are able to choose from 12 playable fighters, most of whom are named after mythological deities like Odin, Zeus, and Ra. The gameplay is a 3D action fighter where characters, known as Incarnates, with unique, superhuman abilities face off in two versus two matches where the goal is to deplete the enemy team’s stock pool. Once their stock pool is depleted they will no longer be able to revive after dying.

The fiction behind all of these fights is that there is an impending natural disaster on its way, these Incarnates form different factions, and power struggles ensue.

For a more detailed explanation of the 2v2 gameplay, check out this video from developer Michael Murray below:

Rise of Incarnates was announced at Banda Namco’s Global Gamers Day in April of last year.
