Preston Garvey of the Commonwealth Minutemen is the first Fallout 4 character to appear in Fallout Shelter as a Legendary Dweller, Bethesda announced today.
Garvey (seen below) is now available to players of Fallout Shelter through the game’s “lunchboxes,” which can be earned through in-game objectives or purchased with real world currency. The Commonwealth Minuteman wields a Laser Musket that can be given to other dwellers in your shelter, should you prefer to keep Garvey at home and utilize him in other ways.
Bethesda will be releasing more Fallout 4 characters as dwellers in Fallout Shelter, presumably in an effort to teach players about the world of Boston in Fallout 4.
Fallout Shelter was released during Bethesda’s E3 2015 press conference, where it also announced the November 10, 2015 release date for Fallout 4, Dishonored 2, and more. Fallout Shelter remains the top free app on iPhone.
