Prolific video game voice actor Nolan North may have revealed that Naughty Dog is developing The Last of Us 2.
While speaking at a Metrocon 2015 panel, North was asked if he had any upcoming project with Naughty Dog after Uncharted 4: A Thief's End to which he replied "Not yet, I know they're doing The Last of Us 2."
North played villain David in the game and while he may return for the next game, it's unlikely to be as the same character for reasons which will be obvious if you've finished the game.
However, Troy Baker, the actor who voiced The Last of Us' main player character Joel separately told an Indy PopCon audience that he had no knowledge of whether or not a sequel was in development.
"I know nothing," Jon Snow, sorry, Baker said, "I don't know if we're gonna do another one or not. If we do, then I trust Neil [Druckmann, creative director] and Bruce [Straley, game director] and everyone at Naughty Dog to tell a story that needs to be told.
Druckmann said there was a 50/50 chance of the game being developed during a Reddit AMA in February of this year, but also suggested that Naughty Dog may develop a new IP instead once A Thief's End ships.
The Last of Us broke sales records on PS3 when it launched in 2013 and was ported to PS4 as a 'Remastered' version in 2014. A movie potentially featuring Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams is planned.
During his Metrocon panel, North also spoke about former Uncharted writer Amy Hennig's Star Wars project for EA Visceral, her suddent departure from Naughty Dog, and the eight months of work she'd put into A Thief's End which was subsequently scrapped when The Last of Us team took over development.
North said Hennig's game will be like Nathan Drake's adventures and cancelled title Star Wars 1313.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End launches in spring 2016.
