The Witcher 3 is set to receive a new DLC this week that adds a quest entitled "Where The Cat And Wolf Play." It bears the image of a cat medallion similar to the wolf medallion that Geralt wears, which might lead us to believe that Geralt will run into a Witcher belonging to the Cat School.
The quest synopsis reveals that the quest is a Witcher contract that Geralt will undertake in the village of Oreton in Velen. It reads as follows:
“Explore a forgotten village and discover its terrifying secret. Find out who or what slaughtered its inhabitants and use all your witcher skills to confront this mysterious force.”
The quest is the 15th of 16 planned add-ons for the game. The last one will be released next week.
Beyond the game's DLC, CD Projekt Red intends to release two full fledged expansion packs, the first of which, Hearts of Stone, will release in October. Blood and Wine will be out in early 2016. Both of them are available for purchase in a pack for $25.
