League of Legend’s River King is an Insatiable Fish

League of Legends has introduced a new champion: the River King, Tahm Kench. Behind that menacing grin lies an insatiable appetite that’ll have him eating pretty much everything, whether foes or allies.

Tahm Kench’s abilities make full use of his appetite. His Q ability, called Tongue Lash, involves lashing his tongue out at his enemies. When an enemy is hit, they will take damage and get slowed.  Third time’s the charm with this ability, as hitting an enemy with this same attack thrice consecutively will result in a stun.

The River King’s W ability is Devour, which has him swallowing a target. If it’s an enemy, they’ll take damage. If it’s an ally, they’ll be immune to any damage for the duration of their stay in the King’s stomach.

Last, but definitely not the least, Tahm Kench’s R ability: Abyssal Voyage. This ability involves having an ally jump into Tahm Kench’s mouth, and he takes them on a quick ride. Tahm Kench creates a whirlpool below him, dives in, and pops up at another point in the map. This ability could be useful for a quick getaway when you’re getting cornered, or ambushing opponents, depending on how you want to play.

League of Legends' Tahm Kench seems ideal for playing Support, as his abilities would be most useful for protecting the more effective damage-dealers on the team. You can see him displaying his capabilities in the video below. What do you think of this new champion?
