A new poster advertising Rockstar's upcoming sequel, Max Payne 3, shows a worn and weary Max Payne—with a full head of hair—drinking a glass of scotch. He also has a bandaged arm which appears to be bleeding. Max certainly looks like the kind of man who could appreciate a good bottle of Talisker or Lagavulin—it's the kind of thing a hard worn former detective would drink to drown his sorrows.
The background contains an armed and masked terrorist with a beautiful woman in a pink top as a captive. Presumably, she's to be Max's love interest in the upcoming game and someone he'll have to risk life and limb to save.
Max Payne 3 is set in the mean and gritty streets of Sao Paolo, Brazil—away from the darkness of New—or Noir—York City. The game will be released in March 2012, as was announced just a few days ago.
