Trey Parker and Matt Stone are at it again, bringing us South Park: The Fractured But Whole. The writers have said in the past that they would never make another video game again, but they realized towards the end of the creative process for South Park: Stick of Truth that they’d actually learned how to make a good video game. “We might regret it, but we’re doing it again,” said Stone.
The Fractured But Whole continues the story from the Stick of Truth. You still play as the New Kid, but instead of SoT’s fantasy roleplay elements, the kids are playing as superheroes Coon & Friends now. As with any superhero, people like to get into your backstory. “We’re gonna get into the back story of why your butthole is so amazing.”
The trailer looks awesome, and it’s got that signature South Park humor that we love. South Park: The Fractured But Whole is now available for pre-order.
