E3 2015: Beyond Eyes Announced for Xbox One

During Microsoft’s E3 2015 press conference, speaking during the ID at Xbox portion, Beyond Eyes, a game in which you play from the perspective of a blind girl, was announced with a trailer.

The gameplay shows you control a young girl as she walks along what looks like a canvas painting. As she moves, her other senses (smell, hearing, etc.) enable her to form a picture in her mind of what is around her. That mental picture is what is shown to the player on screen.

The official description reads:

“A modern fairy tale about finding courage and friendship. Step by step, uncover an incredible world, carefully guiding Rae, a young blind girl, on a life changing journey.”
