Horizon Forbidden West is hitting consoles in less than a month and although the final cover art for the game hasn’t been officially revealed, it looks like it has leaked early. Check out the leaked cover art for the game below.
Along with the regular cover art, it appears as though the cover art for the special edition has also been revealed.
As revealed last month, the cover art also confirms the huge 96GB storage size for the game. The file size for the PS4 version of the game has not been revealed so expect that to change slightly.
The hype for Horizon Forbidden West is huge among PlayStation fans. Horizon has quickly become one of the biggest exclusive franchises for Sony’s consoles. It’s a good thing too since Microsoft appears to be buying up every multi-platform publisher it can. Sony will need to keep up the pace and quality of its exclusive games if it hopes to compete with Xbox once Activision Blizzard games go Xbox exclusive. Luckily for PlayStation owners, Horizon Forbidden West appears to be shaping up well.
News about the game has been slowly ramping up as we get closer to release. Guerilla Games, the developer of the game, has been trickling out information over the past few weeks. Fans have been treated to a look at the tribes in the game, the monsters that Aloy will be facing, and skill trees. The Horizon franchise has also been expanded even further with the announcement of Horizon Call of the Mountain which will be the first VR game in the series. That has been described as a “breakthrough” VR game that Sony will be hoping becomes a tentpole of PlayStation VR 2 in the same way the main games have become tentpoles for the PS4 and PS5.
