Mass Effect 4 might be coming up this E3, or it might not be out until one to two years from now. Nonetheless, Bioware has been teasing the game and answering fan questions nonetheless.
Senior development director Chris Wynn sent a random tweet out admiring how beautiful the game is thus far. Of course, fans were quick to assume this referred to graphics, but if you think about it, he may have also been alluding to how the game is beautiful in itself, or for other elements, such as the story, or even some gameplay elements.
In a follow up, Wynn assured a fan that it will have story, characters, lore, planets, worlds and choices. The operative word here is have. It indicates that Bioware is far enough into development that they are fleshing out these details.
Wynn addressed a more specific question regarding the game design. He clarified that they are balancing out the size of the maps in the game, with the amount of travel you would have to do. In this way, they hope to please fans who like how the Mass Effect games have forcused areas with a lot of variety.
