The latest DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition, titled Jaws of Hakkon, is now available for PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360, ending the timed exclusivity of the content for PC and Xbox One.
To accompany the release of Jaws of Hakkon, Sony PlayStation has released a new trailer (seen below).
The official description of the DLC reads:
“Discover the fate of the last Inquisitor and the powerful dragon he hunted. Enter an overgrown wilderness filled with Avvar, fiercely independent hunters who settled in the southern mountains of Thedas. Explore their culture to uncover what happened to the last Inquisitor and the dragon he pursued. Find an ancient Tevinter fortress that hides a dangerous secret. In this new adventure, playable within the Dragon Age: Inquisition campaign, you will face powerful foes, gain legendary armor and weapons, and confront an ancient god of war bent on destroying the world.”
When Jaws of Hakkon was first released on PC and Xbox One, Dragon Age executive producer Mark Darrah responded to questions about how long the timed exclusivity would last for the DLC.
“We can not discuss when Jaws of Hakkon will be coming on other platforms,” Darrah wrote on Twitter.
When one user posited that Bioware might be contractually prevented from talking about the length of the exclusivity, Darrah responded in the affirmative, stating, “You are correct,” before adding, “We are looking into options.”
Earlier this month, EA also released free multiplayer DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition, titled Dragonslayer. It was released simultaneously on all platforms where Dragon Age: Inquisition is available.
