Supermassive Games has taken to the PlayStation Blog to announce that their horror title Until Dawn will be released this August, and have revealed a new gameplay trailer to mark the occasion.
The developer has also confirmed that Peter Stormare (Arrow, Prison Break, The Big Lebowski) has joined the game's cast. Those who pre-order the title will receive an exclusive scene featuring a new couple called Matt and Emily not-so-alone on the mountain.
Three editions of Until Dawn will also be available, the standard edition, the extended edition, and the steelbook edition with more details about what's included to be revealed soon. Availability of the three versions varies by region.
Sony revealed some footage back at the PlayStation Experience last December, when the crowd controlled the actions of the player. You can watch that gameplay without the crowd's input here.
Originally announced for PS3 back in 2012, the game is now coming exclusively to PS4. Until Dawn will be released on August 26th in North America and August 28th in Europe.
