Grand Theft Auto fans are done with Grand Theft Auto V. The video game has been around since 2013, and with no updates to add into the base game, players mainly see port releases. While we knew ports would come out for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms, it’s not the only GTA in the works. It was rumored not long ago that Rockstar Games was delivering a Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy remaster. Fortunately, that rumor proved to be true and will finally give players something other than Grand Theft Auto V to play.
Rockstar Games was officially unveiled for the video game not long after the rumors started to pour out. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition comes packed with three classic Grand Theft Auto games. This collection includes Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. While Rockstar Games didn’t initially reveal the gameplay footage, the new visuals finally became public.
Recently, the developers have shared the visuals, which looks to give the game a big overhaul. Likewise, the studio had also unveiled that the game would come packed with some new modern mechanics. Fortunately, the studio looks like they have been working on the title for a good while now, and fans are eager to try the collection out. If you are picking this game up on the PlayStation console, you’ll need to ensure that you have enough storage space.
It looks like there will be 38GB of storage space required to install the entire collection. That’s not all that bad compared to some of the latest video games to come out into the marketplace. Naturally, this is a remastered collection, so we were not expecting something incredibly massive. For now, players interested in the game can expect the title to launch on November 11, 2021. When the collection does release, players can expect the game on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch platforms. Meanwhile, mobile devices will receive the game later next year, 2022.
