The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to Release on One Disk on Xbox 360

August 29, 2011 by Gameranx Staff

Bethesda has confirmed The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will release on one disk on the Xbox 360.

Bethesda Softworks has confirmed The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will not require multiple disks on the Xbox 360.

The fear comes due to the game's sheer size and depth, which one would have thought that it would result in the role-playing game being released on the Xbox 360 via multiple disks. However, Art director Matt Carofano confirmed to Ripten that it would release on one disk.

Who wants to put bets on the game's installation size for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360? I call a 10GB install for Sony's platform.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due for a worldwide release on November 11th, 2011.
