Halo 5: Guardians will be hitting store shelves on October 27, 2015. This was revealed just a couple of days ago, and considering the huge lack of Xbox One exclusives right now, comes as welcome news. Halo 5 stands to turn everything around for Microsoft and their eighth-generation console. We all know the frightening magnitude of a new Halo release all too well.
One Youtuber has been following Master Chief's journey very closely. He comes in the form of HaloFollower, and they have a strong theory as to what might happen in Halo 5. Some of the comics recently released pertinent to the Halo canon reveal that Master Chief was going on missions without the permission of his commanding officers. This results in some very branching plotlines, some of which stand to change the face of the Halo universe.
