Following the gamescom trailer for Dragon's Dogma, a direct feed video showing gameplay footage of the game has been released.
The footage shows the game strikes similar resemblances to the Monster Hunter series, but in a good way. Capcom's Dragon's Dogma adds a lot more to the table; in addition to the large open world, the game will also feature a large main city environment with over 200 NPCs. Players will be able to choose from various types of characters – the revealed ones so far are the attack-focused fighter, the magic-focused mage, and the speedy strider.
Dragon's Dogma is due for a release in early 2012 for Japan and late March for North America.
