Bloodborne was a massive video game hit. Developed under FromSoftware, fans have thoroughly enjoyed this game over the years. However, there has been a ton of demand for another installment to come out. Likewise, we have seen pleas for this game to be one of the few Sony exclusives to hit the PC platform. While nothing is officially confirmed, there are some new credible statements from insiders to check into. If these rumors surfacing online prove to be accurate, we’re in store for a ton of Bloodborne content.
The iconic video game launched back in 2015, and since then, we haven’t seen a new installment announcement. Instead, FromSoftware has been working hard on their next big upcoming release, Elden Ring. However, since Sony has acquired Bluepoint Games, it’s been curious to see just what the studio will work on going forward. This development studio has worked on quite a few PlayStation titles over the years, and they specialize in remasters and remakes.
That’s important because the rumors surfacing online like Xbox Era’s Nick and Colin Moriarty from Last Stand Media seem to tie Bluepoint Games with this franchise. The last project from Bluepoint Games is Demon’s Souls, which was a remake for the PlayStation 5. Now it’s suggested that Bluepoint Games is bringing out a remastered edition on Bloodborne for the PlayStation 5 as well.
There are also statements suggesting that Bloodborne has a PC port already finished and a sequel planned. Again, this is nothing official right now, but it does look like the IP might finally get picked back up. That should thrill quite a few fans out there. We know that quite a few fans have been waiting on Bloodborne to get put back in the limelight. For now, we’ll have to label this as a rumor until official statements are put out.
