Halo 5: Guardians will continue the story of the renowned Master Chief when it releases. While the game might currently be slated for a 2015 release, it's very possible it gets pushed back into 2016. We're almost into April and haven't gotten a solid release date for Halo 5.
At any rate, there are some new action figures on the way. These figures feature some of Halo 5's main characters, and come equipped with descriptions that have some pretty lofty implications.
Specifically, these descriptions allude to the idea Halo 5 might be offering day one downloadable content. By purchasing specific figures, players will get exclusive access to content in Halo 5. Attaching incentives like this to products associated with a game's release isn't anything new. This does, however, raise the question of "Why wasn't this content simply included in the game's original content?"
Even if the day one DLC speculation turns out to be true, we may never get an answer. Check out this video made by Youtuber HaloFollower, which features the action figures' descriptions.
