Hearthstone Expansion Blackrock Mountain Gets a Release Date

Hearthstone is one of the most consistently popular games out on the market today. Month after month, the game's player base seems to be expanding. Furthermore, Hearthstone is the host to a huge community of streamers on Twitch, the web's most popular source for live, commentated gameplay.

One upcoming content package has fans waiting in eager anticipation: Blackrock Mountain. The expansion will bring 31 new cards to the game's already numerous assortment. There will also be a new game board, new music and "legendary encounters." Players will have the opportunity to get class-specific cards during Blackrock Mountain as well.

Hearthstone’s Blackrock Mountain adventure pack will be released April 2 the Americas and April 3 in Europe, Korea, Taiwan, and China. One section of the adventure will open each week following the release date. Players can also preorder the entire expansion and get a special card back before everyone else.
