Mortal Kombat X Shaolin Trailer Features Brutal Fatalities

What else did you expect?

Mortal Kombat X is due out on April 14, 2015. We're less than a month away! Marketing for the game has been kicked into high gear recently, with a number of different trailers and teasers hitting the web. Today is no different, as a trailer dubbed "Shaolin" has now made its way on to the wide expanses of the Internet.

The trailer shows a number of fatalities, including some brand new content. Some of these new finishing moves are so brutal that commenters think the game is pushing its "Mature" ESRB rating. Frankly, we don't think they're too far off the mark. I don't consider myself squeamish at all, but Liu Kang's throat punch maneuver is absolutely disgusting.

I won't describe it for you, as the video does that in far better detail than I ever could. The fatality in question occurs around the 1:16 mark. That said, believe us when we say: you won't miss it.
