The Elder Scrolls Online Subscription Requirement is Now Gone

MMORPG fans can hop in after buying the main title.

Starting today, you can jump into the world of The Elder Scrolls Online without having to worry about the hanging burden of a monthly subscription fee.

 

Bethesda has begun offering The Elder Scrolls Online as the Tamriel Unlimited Edition, which will give gamers unlimited access to the game world. You've just got to buy a copy and begin your journey. Players who already have accounts in The Elder Scrolls Online will have the choice of upgrading to the Plus membership. These players will get a ten percent progression boost and 1,500 crowns monthly.

The console versions of the game, which are due out in June later this year, will follow the same model, utilizing the method laid out by the Tamriel Unlimited Edition. There will be no pre-existing players, so everyone will be starting from a clean slate.
