WWE 2K16 Rumor: New Motion Capture To Create Different Fatigue Animations

March 12, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

Depending on how much fatigue a character has, he or she may execute a move differently.

We have some new rumors on WWE 2K16. A fan claims to have a sneak peek on the motion caption for the game, which you can see below.

The new motion capture adds nuances, with more animations to depict similar moves differently. Each animation corresponds to a different stamina tier, so that you can tell how much stamina you and your opponent has based on their animation.

He claims these frames show a standard animation with full stamina and one with less stamina. Many moves will also have a 4th animation, particularly for tired finishers. These are moves that can finish a match, but will end with them falling on their back from exhaustion.

There’s a lot of believability in this rumor, but take it with a grain of salt. We don’t have a real source for this information, nor an explanation of how these photos were found.

WWE 2K16 is expected to be released on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
