Sony's Bend Studio, developers of Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Uncharted: Fight For Fortune have some pretty big dealings in the works. Sony confirmed last month that it had plans for a big, unannounced PS4 title using Unreal Engine 4 – this could very well be the game that they were referring to.
All of the job openings were posted between March 6-7 and feature jobs that would require the applicant to move to Bend, Oregon. Bend Studio and Sony are trying to fill these roles: senior staff graphics programmer, senior staff concept artist, senior staff animator, senior animation programmer, senior staff character technical director (TD), senior game programmer and a senior AI programmer.
If you didn't already know, then take this into account: Bend Studio is formerly known as Eidetic. This legendary development team created the equally amazing Syphon Filter series. It's definitely possible that Bend is looking to revive the franchise. If this is indeed what's going on, you should expect to hear more about it at this year's E3 conference in June.
