Following the success of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, Square Enix has revealed that all DLC for Theatrhythm Dragon Quest will be free.
Don’t mistake this for charity, of course. If anything, Square Enix may have found that the Theatrhythm games make enough money that they can justify releasing future songs like patches, and base profits solely on base game sales.
If you have a 3DS now, you can play the Theatrhythm Dragon Quest demo now, and play both the overworld song from Dragon Quest III, and the battle theme from Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride. As is par for the course on the Nintendo eShop, you can play the demo thirty times.
Not coincidentally, Japanese mag VJump have also shared a new gameplay video for Theathryhthm, which you can see above.
Have you been enjoying the Theatrhythm games so far? What songs and cameous would you like to see in Theatrhythm Dragon Quest? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
Theatrhythm Dragon Quest will be released on Nintendo 3DS on March 26.
