Abbey Road Meets Final Fantasy in Final Symphony

March 10, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Final Symphony brings the tunes of Final Fantasy to the masses.

The X5 Music Group has announced the release of Final Symphony, an album created with music recorded during the Final Symphony European concert tour at Abbey Roads Studio, composed by the great Nobuo Uematsu.

The album is currently sitting at fourth place on the Billboard Classical Chart and includes the greated tracks from the Final Fantasy series of games. Read on for further details.

Following the success of the 2013 'Final Symphony' European concert tour – the 'Final Symphony' album brings the magic of hearing music from 'Final Fantasy VI,' 'VII,' and 'X' to performed by the London Symphony Orchestra to a global audience.

Released by leading digital music label X5 Music Group, 'Final Symphony' is the follow up to 'Greatest Video Games Music,' the album Rolling Stone dubbed as 2011's "weirdest hit album" and had the highest debut for an orchestral release since 2005's 'Star Wars Episode III' soundtrack.

In the words of Uematsu – "To work with the London Symphony Orchestra in a studio that has played host to many of my own personal, musical heroes will be a very special experience."
