No less that EA head Peter Moore has been showing off Star Wars Battlefront footage behind closed doors, including at GameStop.
Moore has been sending several tweets from GameStop’s Fort Worth location showing off the huge presentations the company has had at the event. Moore stated up front that they showed footage from the latest Battlefront game.

From the looks of the pictures, they seem to have had quite a presentation. Not only did they have a stage erected for the event; they also brought with them some Troopers and Rebel forces, and even outfitted a car to appear like it would from the Star Wars universe, droid sitting in the back. It’s possible that this car could even be a prop from the upcoming movie.
Moore being upfront about this presentation could mean that we can be expecting a set of previews of the game coming up very soon. It’s also a possible sign that they’re confident of the game’s progress, and that it would be arriving in time to release this year. Could the game even already be finished? I wouldn’t discount it entirely.
