Valve's recently officially unveiled RTS DOTA 2's open beta registrations have opened up.
The game's official website is inviting fans to register for a chance to participate in the sequel's beta. However, an exact date hasn't been unveiled yet in regards to when the beta will commence.
The mod for Warcraft III mod has a massive fan base and it was officially unveiled by Valve with a gamescom trailer. A $1 million tournament which boasts a total of 16 of the world's best DOTA teams is currently underway, with it to end on the 21st of this month.
DOTA 2 is scheduled for release on PC before 2012 comes.
