Wolfenstein: The New Order released in May last year, reviving a series that many was beginning to fade into the background. Developed by Bethesda Softworks, The New Order received a mostly positive reception and as such, has warranted a second next-generation outing.
Bethesda Softworks published this new video to their Youtube channel today, revealing Wolfenstein: The Old Blood:
The Old Blood takes players back to 1946 as B.J. Blazkowicz, who must complete two different missions in Bavaria in an effort to stop the Nazi threat. The game will act as a prequel to The New Order.
Bethesda Softworks will be present at the hugely important PAX East conference, where they will show off new gameplay from the title; PAX East happens from March 6-7.
The Old Blood will be a standalone title releasing on the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. Note that the Xbox One version of the game will be available only through digital purchase.
