Yacht Club Games, the makers of Shovel Knight, have announced a free update to the title called Plague of Shadows.
In this new adventure, players don the mantle of the Plague Knight, the villainous master of alchemy, in his very own quest. The Plague Knight is seeking to concoct a substance known as the Serum Supernus, the Ultimate Potion. He must extract ingredients from his former allies, the Order of No Quarter.
As you can already guess, the game is set to contain an all new storyline with a new playstyle, new bosses, and then some.
The studio says that it will be showing off the game at PAX East, where it will be playable. It's coming soon and there's little doubt that it'll show up on the PC, PS3, PS4, and PS Vita, where the original game is available.
